Maggie Kudla - Owner/head trainer

Maggie, who has a bachelor’s degree in Human Communicaiton from the University of Kentucky, has been training dogs full time for over nine years. Her goal is to give dog owners the tools they need to communicate clearly, build strong relationships, and enjoy life with their dogs.

She believes that teaching obedience not only makes life easier for owners, but also creates happier dogs and a stronger dog-human bond. Maggie focuses on helping both dogs and owners understand the psychology and steps behind training, from basic manners to advanced obedience, so they can achieve lasting success together.


Claire Burnham - Assistant trainer

Claire has over five years of experience in the pet industry, including three years assisting with dog training programs. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Equine Science and Management with a minor in Biology, bringing both hands-on experience and a strong understanding of animal behavior to her work.

With a background in the horse industry, her training is driven by a love of positive reinforcement and a passion for helping dogs feel more confident and comfortable in the world around them.

Claire currently assists with our Walk and Train Program.


Abby North - Apprentice Trainer

Abby has been working in the pet industry for several years and is currently apprenticing under Maggie in the Mobile Dog Training program. She assists with daily training sessions, outings, and handling, gaining hands-on experience while supporting dogs through structured, positive learning experiences.

Abby is passionate about helping dogs build confidence and develop the skills they need to thrive in real-world environments. She has a strong interest in working dogs and detection work and is currently expanding her education in training and handling explosive detection dogs. Her enthusiasm for learning and commitment to each dog's success make her a valuable part of the Sit Stay Lex team.


Chasity Hunt - Enrichment coach

Chasity is a certified Family Dog Mediator and Pet Dog Trainer specializing in canine enrichment.

She started digging deeper into enrichment and welfare after rescuing her dog Milo who needed additional support through breed specific games!

She is passionate about helping others better understand their dog’s unique needs to develop efficient, practical, enrichment that supports the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of their best friends.
