Puppygarten

Puppygarten is specifically for owners wanting to enrich the lives of their new furry friend. Your trainer will deliver a “white glove” experience. Everything is designed to encompass the dog’s learning style, but also the owner’s learning style! This program is designed for puppies as young as 8 weeks old to 8 months old. The goal is to teach owners unique ways to keep their pups energy directed into positive things besides humans things! We will work on giving your puppy mental and physical stimulus without having to run the puppy around. It is full of games, tips, fun and obedience.

This will take place in four 1:1 sessions in the owners home with the owner participating in the session.

The puppies age will determine what is worked on. Different ages need different types of exposure and training, but the general format is as stated below:

• Potty Training

• Crate Training

• Systematic Socializing/Exposure Training to give a strong foundation for a confident dog.

• Chewing of……everything

• Mental enrichment to help fulfill puppies needs and keep them entertained

  • Safe Toys

• Tips on:

  • Collar fit

  • Dog body language

  • Treats

• Obedience:

  • Sit

  • Down

  • Walking on a leash

  • Engagement fondation for recall

  • Fun trick

Basic Obedience 

$600

The Basic Obedience Package’s goal is to break down the communication barrier you have with you canine. Building communication allows you to have a dog that blends into your world rather than ruling it. Your trainer will deliver a “white glove” experience. Everything is designed to encompass the dog’s learning style, but also the owner’s learning style! This package includes six training sessions that last one hour long. Sessions will take place in the dog owner's home with the client actively involved in the training process. These will vary dog to dog but will mainly focus on sit, down, place, stay, leave-it, touch, look, and heel. Along with exercises to build engagement with your dog. After each session I will give the client a few things to work on until our next session. I will be available to verbally help through any questions between the visits.

“Good Dog!” Package - Advanced Obedience

$1500

The goal of these lessons to perform obedience with medium/high distractions - dogs, people, traffic, etc. In Lexington, there are many pet-friendly coffee shops, books stores, and breweries that your dog would love to go to BUT they need to be able to solidify being able to perform cues with difficult Distance, Duration, and Distractions! The dog will be able to moderately settle in public, maintain a heel with food and people around, perform long down stays in stores, and ignore food that falls to the ground. Most importantly, the program creates a beautiful communication between dog and owner.

This package is available after the completion of the Basic Obedience Package with Sit Stay Lex or a similar Obedience Program with a different organization! This will be a program only available for owner that will fully commitment to the lessons structure, and daily homework assigned at the end of each lesson.

This is not available for dogs with reactivity (human or canine).
